So I owe you guys an apology.

For 2010, one of my goals was to update the blog on a more consistant basis. To let you inside the scary place that is known as a photographer’s brain. And so far, I haven’t quite kept my promise….I’m working on it .

So what has been going on? Its been a busy two months already. I’ve got a couple of fantastic weddings that I’m excited to show you. The website has been updated. I just got back from Miami yesterday. Teamed up to shoot a PHENOMENAL 1000+ person wedding. [Yes, you read correctly. A one followed by THREE zeros. I don't think I even know that many people.] So please be patient…good things are coming.

In the meantime, I wanted to show you one of my recent album. You might remember Andrew + Angelina from an earlier blog entry. Their album was so cute I just have to show you guys. I seriously LOVE designing albums. Its my 2nd favorite thing about weddings. Chasing the bride around all day has got to be #1.

Sonny & Christie are one some of the greatest people you’ll ever meet. Their laid back and goofy personalities made them a joy to work with and they planned out their wedding with the classiest details in mind (plus it doesn’t hurt that they are incredibly photogenic). =) You might recognize them from the engagement session that I photographed a while back. Christie and Sonny had their wedding at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. This venue provided some stunning backdrops and was a magical setting for an equally stunning bride and groom.

Don’t worry if you aren’t a local “San Diegan.” This venue has killer wedding planning services and their “day-of” coordinator will take care of you on your special day so that you can enjoy your wedding to the fullest. Sonny & Christie’s wedding was coordinated by Sandy Maurin and I’ve already asked her if she wanted to coordinate my wedding (when that happens. Muhaha).

Now on to the good stuff!

I know the stylist looks a little young in this picture but she made Christie look drop dead gorgeous. Look at how expertly she handles a round brush! She was actually pulling double duty in the wedding and acted as the flower girl too.

In fact, the flower girl has many talents. I ended up adopting her as my assistant for a little while.

This little guy was hanging out in the bride’s room with all the beautiful ladies. He’s one smart cookie. Haha.

The gardens at the Hilton were beautiful and it felt like we were in Hawaii.

Boys will be boys.

This is a beautiful table assignment table. Sonny & Christie thought of every detail. They even blinged out each name card!

So for New Years we decided to take a little trip up to Seattle. Sometimes its nice to leave the warm Cali sun and trade it in briefly for some rain and fog. Key word being BRIEFLY. Enjoy these Pictures from Seattle
